A Peaceful Weekend

Just a few moments of my weekend.
I wish I could write more but having an autoimmune disease you never know when the energy will be there or not. And today is one of those days where I have no energy, I am grateful for lasagna and chocolate cake from a neighbor friend. Both were delicious.

The Last Day Of Summer

I spent the morning praying for the Pope, Mother Earth, and all the refugees that are just trying to find a safe place to live and grow.
Then a very much needed swim. I can't believe how amazing I feel after my swims. The pool was warm, I knew it would be, even though it is the last day of summer.

A Dot of a Spot

Well well well, Jeff, for the most part is always right, he has really good ideas and when he said to turn the downstairs guest suite into my studio. I resisted with everything  "we need to have a place where friends and family could stay with us". Well owning it for two year and  living full time on Lake Travis Austin for about a year.

I. finally. gave. in.
The first thing we did was talk about what hardware was going to be used. Ikea? Pottery Barn? RH?
There were so many choices, I mean there are soo many ideas.

I wanted it to be clean white and fun to use. Insert the container store, WEEE!

Shopping Local In Taos

We always shop local at home, it's one ot the thinks we love to do. We are a small business and love shopping small and local as much as we can.
So when I found out that we were staying in one of my favorite small towns,Taos. Oh boy! Was I happy. The small businesses in this town ROCK!
I was already making a list of the items, I have to because, if I don't...I end up getting overwhelmed and buy nothing or worse, but things I already have.
So here are just some of the wonderful things that I got.
We also were able to shop the local Taos Farmers Market
I was in heaven. More about them latter.
